I had the good fortune to spend five weeks as an artist-in-residency at the MI-LAB's Lake Kawaguchiko studio in Japan as part of the basic training program in mokuhanga. Had a wonderful time with fellow artists from around the world amidst the bucolic setting and the spectacular scenery around Fujikawaguchiko. Learnt a lot, met wonderful people, did some crazy stuff - like a failed attempt to summit Mt. Fuji, ate a lot of delicious food, met-up with old friends, made new friends, fell in love with Japan (again!). Grateful and thank you for the opportunity!

The exhibition showcased flower arrangements inspired by selected works from the Works on Paper exhibit. Thank you to Lois Mullen for her beautiful design - very grateful! Read the story behind Ms. Mullen's design in The SandPaper's article about the show.
